Military Families in Cabot 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I moved to Cabot in 2004. I was able to buy a house a family could grow into. Since I work from home the location wasn’t a big deal, but it’s really nice being so close to Little Rock! It makes doing serious shopping, or going out for a night, fun.

That doesn’t mean that t ...Read More here aren’t fun things to do in Cabot. There definitely are. There are tons of sports to watch - the high school and grade school both are very active in them. You really have to check out the Strawberry festival! It’s one of my favorite times of year and the recipes that you get to try are seriously delicious. The Lonoke County Fair is also something we always look forward to as well.

There are definitely a lot of military families in the city but honestly that almost makes me feel safer - maybe it’s silly, but it does. My children aren’t in school yet but I’m looking forward to it because they rank as some of the highest schools in Arkansas. Overall, I’m really glad we moved here, even if we do have to head into the city for real excitement. Read Less
