Brookhaven, GA - A Lovable City 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 23, 2018) Wow! I really love my home in Brookhaven, GA. The city has a certain charm about it. I really love how it merges the historical sites along with the modern day. It is really nice to take strolls down the cobbled streets and get a hint of the days of old. The city is part of DeKal ...Read More b County, which is a suburb of Atlanta, GA.

In the area you can recognize some of the homes that were built from more than an hundred years ago. Some of the homes are known to be valued at millions. I really love the homey feel that my community has. The schools district in my city is highly recognized. Oh, and let me not forget that my city is how to two highly recognized universities; Georgia State and Oglethorpe University.

I really love how the community comes together and how the city has so many parks and a major recreation center for its residents. Every Fall the city host its annual Chili Cook Off, where everyone in the community comes together. We have so many things to do here in Brookhaven.

I also like the mall, Town Brookhaven and Northeast Plaza, both have so many interesting shops to enjoy. Northeast Plaza specializes in discount and ethnic stores, whereas Town Brookhaven has some of the best restaurants in and around their shopping mall. Stop by and check out all that Brookhaven, GA has to offer; enjoy the nostalgic sights and the beautiful surroundings.
