Summary of village User Rating 4.5 rating By harrkm10 ( Apr 23, 2015) The village of Bronxville is best described as an extremely well-to-do, residential community located ten miles north of mid-town Manhattan. The villages's most identifiable characteristics includes a top rated, highly competitive school district, architecturally renowned homes, ...Read More commercial, and government buildings, bustling downtown shopping district, quick and easy commute into NYC, public transportation access, and overall highly walkable and aesthetically pleasing. Keep in mind, one of few potential negatives for residents may include the overall culture/ vibe/ collective identity throughout the village; once again highly generalized but could be summarized as wealthy, exclusive, competitive, old money, etc. This obviously can also be perceived as a positive for many families/ individuals, but of course, community 'vibes' are arguably the most subjective and preferential aspects of changing residencies.
