Enjoying living in Jamaica Plain MA, this is a more family centered area of Boston, filled with a lot of green space with the many parks. There are a lot of people with Dogs, and generally people out walking around at all hours of the day and into the evening. We have generally f ...Read More
ound it to be safe, and haven't run into any issues over our time here. Granted it is a part of the city, so its important to be aware of your surroundings. JP has good access to public transportation (when it works... the city really needs to put a lot more effort into the orange line) and a variety of good restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. The only thing the area is missing is easy walkable access to a good grocery store other than whole foods (which is over priced).
