Boardman: A Fine Ohioan Choice 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I chose to move to Boardman a few years ago due to a job in Youngstown, and it stills feels like I made the right decision. Boardman itself gets a lot of things right, even if it feels like a small town sometimes.

Buying a home was surprisingly affordable, even though I knew Ohi ...Read More o has reasonable real estate prices. I've also seen that the school system in Boardman is above the state average, which is excellent if you have children. The summers are fairly mild which I actually like. It makes hitting the golf course in August much more enjoyable.

As far as shopping and restaurants go, there's a healthy selection to choose from. The Southern Park Mall has pretty much everything you'll need. There's also a cinema there, which I visit frequently. Overall, Boardman is a peaceful and comfortable town, which is ideal if you don't fancy a fast-paced lifestyle or if you're starting a family soon. Read Less
