Bemidji - Something for Everyone 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I love Bemidji because of the low cost of living, different amenities, education options, and the friendly community. We don't have many different shopping options, but we do have a TJ Maxx, Walmart and other stores. One of my favorite places to shop is at Up Thrift Shop because there are so many second-hand deals. The prices are very reasonable.

We also value education. I don't live that far from Bemidji State University. The primary and high schools are decent. Most graduates attend the local University because it has a lot to offer. We have a few libraries in the area which offer several summer programs for kids. Overall Bemidji is a cool place to live for students, families, and retirees. Read Less
