Beltsville, MD - More than Industry 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) The mention of Beltsville often brings factories, warehouses, and junkyards to mind, as you see quite a few of them when driving through the main roads. But Beltsville also has beautiful homes in upscale neighborhoods. Living in Beltsville is convenient for just about everything ...Read More because of its closeness to major roads, highways and neighboring towns.

Beltsville has a lot of mini malls and the popular wholesale store, Costco. The community is in Prince George's County so schools are mediocre. There are reports of criminal activity in several areas, but I've found the majority of the community to be safe. Most of the employment in this area are retail and blue collar type of work.

Many residents have to commute to work from Route 1, which is the main road that runs through the community. This road connects to nearby Interstates 95 and 495. Housing options are plentiful, and prices are pretty average overall. Some of the best areas in Beltsville have some very expensive homes. Read Less
