Bellwood is a village located in Cook county in the state of Illinois. The village is a residential area that is constantly evolving with time. Bellwood has a number of schools, both primary and secondary education, this an area where education is valued. For families with young children, Bellwood has a lot of activities made available to get the kids involved and improve the community. For the time I've lived in Bellwood, it felt like I was surrounded by family; this brings in some sort of safety.

Living in Bellwood comes with opportunities to enjoy many activities. The main park in the village contain several resources that enables the children to enjoy a range of activities. There are a handful of local restaurants here in the area which makes the area more homely and maintain some sort of culture since most of them aren't chain restaurants but "mom and Pops".

The village of Bellwood is close to Downtown Chicago, so traveling there for a fun time or for shopping is made easy through driving or taking the metro. Traveling through the area is fairly easy and simple, whether one has a car or using the metro system. I have enjoyed living here because I have access to almost anything and feel cared for.
