Belleville is a good place to live. Belleville Lake has seven miles of shoreline and is great for water sports and fishing. The lake is a hidden Wayne County treasure. The city is located 20 miles from Ann Arbor (University of Michigan) and it has half the taxes and the cost of l ...Read More
iving is way lower. Downtown Detroit is 25 minutes, Detroit Metro Airport is 10 minutes and Ypsilanti (Eastern Michigan University) is 10 minutes away. You are close to Canton and other areas west of Detroit. Shopping, restaurants and plenty of parks are close by. (Note: I cannot comment on the public education system since we do not have children of school age.)
