Lots of Things to See and Do in Baytown, Texas 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 05, 2010) My husband and I spent three days visiting Baytown, Texas in April 2010. This was a great time to visit, because the weather was warm, but not overly hot. We stayed at the Best Western Baytown Inn located at 5021 Interstate 10 East. Even though this hotel was very inexpensive, my ...Read More husband and I both thought it was very nice. We also got to enjoy a free breakfast every morning at this hotel.

The first day of our trip in Baytown my husband met his friend for a round of golf at Evergreen Point Golf Course. My husband said it was one of the best golf courses he has ever played on. Since I have no interest in golf I decided to spend the day shopping at the San Jacinto mall. The mall had a ton of stores and I had a great time shopping.

The second day in the city of Baytown, my husband and I went to see the Battleship Texas and San Jacinto Monument and Museum. Since my husband and I love history we really liked visiting the battleship and museum. That evening we went to Roosters Steak House for dinner. My husband had a steak and I had a chicken sandwich. When we go back to Baytown we will defiantly be eating at this restaurant again.

Since we had such a good time in Baytown, we have decided to plan a week's vacation there next year, so we can see more of the city. Read Less
