Do not go by my one star rating. I wasn’t able to submit my review without 1star 1 rating By Anonymous ( Jan 30, 2020) I should have known that no one in this town would admit to anything. Paid over $400.00 to ride the train. A friend of mine was riding the train two nights before our scheduled ride and her train derailed. I immediately called one of the numbers I had and was told they would have ...Read More the train going again in 10 minutes. I called each day after that and was told the train would be running on the night of our ride. I decided to call before we left home since we were coming hours from this town. I was told that the train would not be running. If I didn’t call we would have driven there in vain. They had my email and phone number and had not contacted me in anyway of the train still not running.
Since that time I have called every week to check on my refund and was told each time I would get it the next week. Today,January 29,I was told the train company was bankrupt. Since I have no one to contact who has the authority to issue a statement to me that we weren’t able to take the train ride my bank isn’t able to give me my money back.
What I know of this town I would skip ever stopping there. There isn’t anything there for you to spend the night,eat in one of their restaurants or even get gas. Skip this town completely and spend your money in an honest town who deserves the revenue.
This town does not even deserve one star, but the only way I could submit this review would be to give them at least one star. Read Less
