I experienced nice time while living in Baraboo Wisconsin. The city is located in Sauk County. Baraboo is close to the Madison Metropolitan area. The town has substandard school academics in place and employment opportunities are nearby in Madison. The University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County is also located in Baraboo. Housing is sufficient and the cost of living isn't too bad in relation to surrounding suburbs. The weather in Baraboo is basically good all year.
Some of the best areas in Baraboo Wisconsin surround the Circus World Museum which was the original headquarters of the Ringling Brothers Circus from 1884 to 1917. Now it is referred to as Circus City and serves as a historical museum that showcases show artifacts. Other notable areas include the Al Ringling Theatre, a princely movie facility located downtown and funded by the Ringling family. Another great historical locale is the Badger Army Ammunition Plant that was used during World War II. The city has remarkable culture and monuments.
