Baldwin: A Regular Place With Some Interesting Businesses 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) To be honest, there really isn't much going on in Baldwin. The good thing about Baldwin is the fact that it happens to be within close proximity of neighboring areas that have more going on. There is also a good public transit system that can take you through Baldwin and into oth ...Read More er neighborhoods. You don't even really have to take a bus or train to leave Baldwin, because everything is in walking distance .

There is a strip joint in Baldwin, but I never went there. It's pretty interesting, though, because there really aren't that many strip joints on Long Island. It's not really something that you see a lot of, at all. I hear that in some other parts of America, there are a lot strip joints. That is not true on Long Island.
There is a piercing and tattoo shop called Skin Deep. Next door, there is place called Daze Hippy Shop. Daze is a pretty cool place. They sell incense and various head shop products. In Baldwin, you can also find some ethnic restaurants, such as Irish pubs and Middle Eastern restaurants. Read Less
