I lived in Baldwin Park for over 10 years, I loved it. Just minutes away from the West Covina Mall and Walmart and Target are super close by, as well as many restaurants. The city is pretty clean and well manicured. That being said I lived close to Baldwin Park Blvd and Francisq ...Read More
uito, I know there were some more shady areas like all cities. Overall I enjoyed living in Baldwin Park. The community center is also nice and offer classes for kids and adults. Drive around and get a feel for the neighborhood, and which parts are nicer. It’s a nice place to raise and family

f living there is not very enticing. Nearly every week I hear something bad about Baldwin Park on the news. I have lived in Los Angeles for several years and know two people who have lived there for 8 years and detest the city. Real estate rates are reasonable, but the risk of crime isn't worth living there to most.
Although the city of Baldwin Park is not an ideal place to live, it certainly isn't a bad place for a day trip. Most of the crimes that take place in Baldwin Park occur after dark and are concentrated to residential areas. There is a phenomenal Mexican dining venue there called the Guadalajara Grill in the Town Center area. The food is scrumptious and the staff are friendly and fun. Also of interest is the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center for daytime activities.
