Half Way Point From The Bay To L.A. User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Living in Avenal, CA was one of the most exciting experiences I had. I got to do a lot and see a lot here. What I loved about this city was that it was close to the Bay Area, CA and also to L.A. This was the midpoint city, so whenever I needed to go back to the Bay Area, CA I cou ...Read More ld conveniently do so. The community here was very diverse when I lived there a few years ago. I thought that this city was nice because of the diversity within the community.

The best places in Avenal, CA was called the Forestiere Underground Gardens. This place is truly amazing to come and escape the heat if you are into scenic views. My family and I would visit this place every other week when we stayed here for the short time we lived in Avenal, CA. Another fun place was Margarita Adventures that offered rafting and ziplining. This place is amazing for those who like adventure. I would definitely recommend this city. Read Less
