Best for young seasonal workers to live dorm style. 1 rating By Robin ( Jun 21, 2015) I've lived here for 30 years as single Mom. I'll be relocating now as my 2nd of two is leaving for college in fall. The Aspen public school system is the best in the country but the price of living here is ridiculous. I have owned and rented in this valley. The employee housing a ...Read More nd rent control type places are slim and none. Traffic is horrific..hard to believe but true. Generally, the area is very unfriendly..lots of posers with angles, if you're extremely wealthy you can certainly rent friends in this town not a problem. ..lots of phony name dropper types. Low crime..mostly DUI's and people scamming each other. If you're thinking of moving here I'd strongly recommend serious research and a visit before taking the plunge. Read Less
