Archdale, N.C. An Easy Commute To The Triad 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I moved to Archdale about 10 years ago when I was transferred to High Point, N.C. to work in the Furniture Market. Archdale is an easy commute and the cost of living is lower than High Point. There is plenty of local shopping and locally owned restaurants offering good food. You ...Read More might want to try J. Butlers or Rixsters. If you like Disc Golf, there is a course at Creekside Park.

The education system needs an upgrade, but about 75% of the students graduate. Most of the residents are families holding jobs in the surrounding triad area. You can find lower priced housing and rentals here. There is a public bus system that can get you where you need to go if you don't want to drive. The weather is fairly mild year-round with occasional ice or snow in the winter and a bit humid in the summer. We have beautiful spring flowers and foliage that are natural to the area, including dogwoods, the state flower. Read Less
