Arbutus, Maryland: 45 minutes from Washington D.C., and a drive from Baltimore. 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Arbutus, Maryland is a town that sits on the outskirts of a big city like Baltimore, Maryland but retains its identity as a suburb. Arbutus may have a population of 20 thousand plus residents, but there is a lot to do and see within driving distance of the town. What I like about ...Read More Arbutus is that it is close to a major interstate highway, and allows for the opportunity to enjoy the nightlife, culture, professional sports teams like the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens.

The good thing about Arbutus is that there are viable options for considering a place to live. I like the fact that if you are single, Arbutus provides decent options. There are work opportunities for professionals close to Arbutus. I also like the weather in Arbutus, because there is a change of seasons. It can get hot during the summer, but not brutally hot. I like the changing seasons, because of the many park systems within close distance to Arbutus. Read Less
