I don't like living in Apex. Downtown area is the worst part. They have supermarkets I don't like and traffic lights that are red and have blinking yellows. Blinking yellows? Come on. Whenever the left turn light is usually green they make it blinking yellow to let more cars go b ...Read More

For me, living in Apex, North Carolina and working as a research assistant is a quite compatible combination. Many find Apex neighborhoods to each be best areas in the city. I have a small house near downtown. As the median housing values for homes is estimated at $278,000.00, I ...Read More
was able to secure a modest dwelling for about two-thirds that cost.
One must provide their own means of transportation if resident or visitor. Apex is considered part of the metro area along with Raleigh and Durham. Museums, a lake, recreation area, and restaurants are nearby. Colleges and universities are within twenty miles of Apex. Incidentally, Wake Technical Community College and Meredith College are two higher learning institutions nearby.
Most working adults hold Bachelor degrees or higher, and our poverty rate is among the lowest in the nation. Our city is growing, but maintaining a sense of who we have been is uppermost in the minds of city administration.
