Amherst, Ohio: A Lovely Main Street 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I live in Amherst, Ohio and enjoy my home here. Living in Amherst, Ohio means that you are driving distance to the beautiful shores of Lake Erie and are living in a city that has tons of historic charm. The polite and sweet residents here are the icing on the cake.

Amherst, Oh ...Read More io is a safe city, with only crimes like break-ins in the local community occurring. Thank goodness we feel safe in our homes here. The community is just great here for everyone, both young and old. If you have children that attend school, you will just love the teachers here. They truly care and are providing a great education to my children.

The best areas in Amherst, Ohio include the lovely shops on Main Street. These shops offer the cutest and some of the most unique gifts that you can find. The coffee shops that you can find around town offer a great cup of coffee and some delicious sandwiches as well. This place is just a great place to live or explore. Read Less
