Welcome To Altus, Oklahoma 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Welcome to the glorious midwest, where we still enjoy a fine way of living. Spending time along the town of Altus made for some good times. As a city of few, there is a good atmosphere living here. Upon approach you won't see many hay bales, but you will find a good quality lifes ...Read More tyle.

As employment has been great, although not the best over the past few years, the internet has taken away many blue collar jobs. I think that the crime rate is relatively low compared to other places I've lived. Check out the Museum of The Western Prairie and request a tour, you'll really enjoy it.

I like to take rides along Falcon Road on my old beach cruiser on Sundays. Some folks around town are particular about when and where they shop, but I've always found some of the best deals in Altus to be found on Broadway Street. Living in Altus is a pleasure for sure, give it a visit so you can see for yourself! Read Less
