Allouez, WI City Review User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Allouez, WI is a small, suburban center that is at the heart of Green Bay. There are many individuals who are proud to call this area home, and I came to find there were definitely a lot of positives to living in this area.

Lambeau Field is definitely a must-see for many visit ...Read More ors, and it was one of the first things I wanted to see when I moved there. I enjoyed the shops and pubs and purchased ssome Green Bay Packer memorabilia and made a lot of acquaintances while I was there. I also enjoyed taking my family to the National Train Museum on several occasions.

Although Allouez is only a very small part of Green Bay with just under 14,000 people, it was very picturesque and well-kept. It has many churches and many different great school options to choose from. My husband and I enjoyed the many recreation fields there as well.

There are a number of restaurants right there in the area or nearby in Green Bay. These would include such staples as the Village Grille, the Allouez Cafe, and many chain offerings as well. A number of pubs, sports bars, and cafe/bars are available. When we wanted to take a breather and take a load off we went to a few.

Shopping is somewhat limited as there are no nearby malls available. However, many speciality stores are available. All in all, a great place to live and a great place to raise a family. The only reason I left is because of a job transfer. Read Less
