Okay With Affton User Rating 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) When I moved here, I didn't realize it was surrounded by cemeteries, which kind of creeps me out. I'm currently living in Affton, MO, and am surrounded by St. Paul Cemetery, Sunset Burial Park, Park Lawn Cemetery, Mount Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum, New Mount Sinai Cemetery, New S ...Read More aint Marcus Cemetery, Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, and Saint Matthews Cemetery.

No matter what direction you go, you will pass a cemetery. I feel like I'm constantly reminded of death here. I love a quiet town, but not quiet as the dead. It just feels unsettling living here. Don't get me wrong, aside from the cemeteries, the area is nice, and we have a great school system. I have a good job and the cost of living is ok.

Putting the death reminders aside, it's a fairly quiet town to live in. There's not really much to do or places to go unless you want to drive to a neighboring town or to St. Louis. Read Less
