Whitchurch-Stouffville is a town in Ontario located about a 50 minute drive to downtown Toronto. The city is a popular commuter suburb, as it is served by GO bus and train services to Toronto, as well as other stops in the GTA. Cradled by the ecologically sensitive Oak Ridges Moraine, the town is an amalgamation of several communities and has grown substantially in recent years along the town’s sustainable development plan. To prevent the destruction of the surrounding lands, the growth of urban sprawl is prevented by regulations and developments are carefully planned. You won’t find too many high-rises in Whitchurch-Stouffville, which allows the town to retain its characteristic small town flavour.
