There’s a lot to love about Shawnee, it’s s small town with a lot to offer. The education system is also really good, in addition to two colleges near town. Entertainment is never a problem with a wide selection of options like museums, art galas, and theaters. We even have e ...Read More
vents like Shawnee Trail Days in the summer time, and I the fall Boo On Bell St. It often features haunted tours and events all around for families to enjoy. There’s always something going on.
On the downside, much of the population is in their later years. In my opinion this doesn’t help in aiding further growth for a town that otherwise may struggle to stay relevant down the road. A lot of the older citizens want to keep their small town the way that it is without considering where it could go. How to best keep the town moving towards growth.
Otherwise, I do love living in Shawnee, it’s a sweet old town, with a lot to offer for families looking to move here.
