It’s quiet, except Sunday afternoons when ppl shoot their guns, But, hey. I’m super liberal and grew up out here. Was in rodeos and everything. No need to stress about shopping, Tacoma, Lacey, And South Hill Malls are like 25 min. There’s Amazon. Decent pizza AND Asian cui ...Read More

The military base nearby smokes us out spring, summer and into fall from prescribed fires to save butterflies and gophers. If you like to stay inside with your windows closed in 90 degree weather then you probably won't mind it. When they finish in late fall, the DNR sells burn p ...Read More
ermits to people outside the city limits who have cut down their forests so they can burn and smoke us out when the burn ban is off. The town has a small library, 1 gas station/quickie mart, couple of bars and a rodeo twice a year. I almost forgot the smoke from artillery fires and noise that shakes the pictures on the walls.
