Riverdale, Illinois - A Great Place to Live! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I love living in Riverdale, Illinois and have called this place my home for over 30 years. I really can't picture myself living anywhere else. This community is so friendly, it almost reminds me of television's "Mayberry".

This is a farming community, and if you are looking fo ...Read More r work in the agricultural industry this is a good place to be. The local farms are always looking for strong laborers and pay a very handsome wage. I know, because we live on one!

The downtown district has a variety of little shops and little restaurants, nothing name brand, but that doesn't mean that they aren't good, it just means that they are all unique. The Mexican restaurant here has a burrito bowl that I can guarantee you will give any large chain restaurant a good run for its money!

There's truly a family atmosphere here in Riverdale, where it's almost like your not just neighbors and friends, you really are family. I wouldn't want it any other way! Read Less
