Chill in the Bayou in Raceland 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) The job market has increased the standard of living in Raceland Louisiana. The weather in Raceland is excellent most of the year. The town is extremely friendly with a unique Cajun culture. There is very little crime in Raceland to speak of however there are incidents that occur ...Read More from time to time. The culture here in Raceland is very laid-back and most of the people in the community know one another.

The best areas in Raceland is near the Public Park on Recreation Drive where there are nice neighborhoods to live in that are clean and safe for kids to enjoy. There are not a lot of restaurants, shops, and other amenities within Raceland that you find in larger urban communities. However, you can find almost anything that you could need in some of our smaller businesses that are established here. If you're looking for a really laid-back cool community to call home, I recommend Raceland Louisiana as a great opportunity to enjoy a chilled-out community. Read Less
