I'll admit there is not a whole lot to the town, but even in the fall (November) it was beautiful and quite. It is a nice change from the quite and dirty city. We are actually looking to move to ...Read More Parkersburg, IA permanently, we loved it so much. Parkersburg seems to be mostly farm land, which sounds glorious to me! There are a lot of dirt roads so make sure your vehicle can handle it. Waterloo is only about 30 minutes away, which is where there is more businesses and such. Read Less
