Oswego is mostly a college town with plenty of nightlife. Oswego sits on Lake Ontario and there are plenty of docks for boaters. There are a lot of bars and many have live music. Oswego has many scenic parts, including Breitbeck Park where you can watch the beautiful sunset over ...Read More
Lake Ontario. Take a tour of Fort Ontario, which holds various events such as plays, lectures, and socials. Every summer during the last weekend in July is an event called Harborfest where thousands of people from all over visit the city for food, beer, live music, and fireworks. The winters can be harsh at times, where snow can really pile up high. Oswego is a nice place to raise a family and I highly recommend it.
