We have a seasonal home here and spend a few weeks a year climbing, hiking and living in Monticello. It is a nice town with lots to see within a 5 hour radius - multiple national parks, world class rock climbing and hiking/biking. Monticello lacks nightlife as for now - someday ...Read More
a bar and grille may pop up or perhaps more than the Temple, the Library and the Maverick gas station. Always though, there are lots of families getting out to the playgrounds, meeting up for yoga, book clubs and coffee. Finding the right people here will help you have a good time. Quiet most of the year - this place needs more bodies with more jobs and then, perhaps, this little community can thrive.
