Great town if you've got a partner to do all of the fun outdoorsy things they have going on. It's tough for single girls because all the men are ski bums and mountain rats who are only there for the activities. You can Happy Hour hop through town and have a blast!! (There is a L ...Read More

Super dog friendly: they have a leash law but don't enforce it. Dogs are allowed on most patios and definitely at Shady Rest (the town park).
All in all if you're looking for a close knit town with tons of stuff to do outside go to Mammoth! The hot springs alone would make it worth it at least for a season.
