I took a trip to Lodi, California in 2009. The trip proved to be less than exciting, but very relaxing with the hometown feel and look to the city of Lodi.

style cooking that was on hand, I ate well. The food was great, service wonderful and the residents in the restaurants were friendly and accommodating.
Nightlife around Lodi was a bit disappointing, leaving the absence of any good clubs or places to be in the evenings. There are plenty of wineries in the region to visit and tour. The Isenberg Crane Reserve created a beautiful afternoon spent by water, watching birds and relaxing. The Lodi Wine and Visitor Center is an amazing place as well, however I found myself getting bored with wineries. The nightlife and cultural activities are definitely on the downside of the scale when it comes to tourism.
Lodi is a smaller city that has that old-time feel to it. It would be a great place to raise a family due to the smaller population. If you enjoy small, country type cities, Lodi is the place to visit.
