Greatwood Texas: A Fine Area for Families 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I experienced fine stay while living in Greatwood Texas. The city is located in Fort Bend County. Greatwood is close to Sugar Land Texas and is in close proximity to Houston. The town has fine schools in the area. There are a lot of viable employment opportunities in the town. Ho ...Read More using markets are growing, but the cost of living can be hefty in comparison with nearby communities. In my experience, the town is very safe.

Some of the best areas in Greatwood Texas surround Sugar Land, Memorial Park. This area is extraordinary. It boasts of natural landscapes and calm lakes. I loved taking the family there just to get away for a family picnic every now and then. It is definitely a treat to enjoy the scenery near the area. The park also has shopping and dining in the encircling area. Greatwood has friendly neighbors that care as a community. The town makes you feel a part of it. It is a great place for families.
