is a lot of forest area that surrounds the lake which makes it a beautiful area to visit.
There's a shopping center downtown and Granite Bay has some stores that can offer you most of what you'll need. If you want to try out new restaurants or visit a mall, you'll have to check out a neighboring city. There is little in the way of shopping here in Granite Bay. Real estate here is expensive, even by California standards. A decent amount of residents here probably commute to the city for work, which is why it's such an expensive city to live in.
