I couldn't ask for a better place to live! Glasgow is a small suburban diverse area located within Barren County. It's favored for its yearly Highland Games Festival. One disadvantage is the job growth in Glasgow is unfortunate, within the past year jobs in the area have declined ...Read More
by 2.52%. The towns education programs makes up for the disadvantage, it features over twelve public, three private, and three-post-secondary school districts.
The winters here are perfect, there is really not much snowfall here, we've never gotten more than 8' inches of snow. Summers are also a reward, the weather is always mild and pleasant. We do get occasional rain showers throughout the year and about 51 inches of rain.
One can only embrace, the nearby amenities, shopping centers, restaurants, museums, and arenas. Glasgow, Kentucky is also iconic for its national attractions such as the Mammoth Cave National Park and the Barren River Lake State Resort Park, both are destination favorites for residents and visitors.
