My only complaint is the Chamber of Commerce won't allow more corporate/commercial shopping. That said, things in that area are changing and we have a lot more shopping and dining to offer than before. The night life isn't all bars and clubs but there is a lot of downtown music ...Read More
all through the spring and summer (and most of fall), very classy bourbon restaurants and fine dining (Check out Serafini). We also have the best water play anywhere. One large creek (the Elkhorn) if you like kayaking adventures and the Ky River if you want something mellow. People are polite and it's a quiet place with lots to do. I love this town.
