Despite being a little far from a big city, Faribault is a fun place to live. I've been here a while and enjoy it a lot. It's a bit of a drive from Minneapolis so if you're craving an urban lifestyle, you might be better off elsewhere.

at you can choose from, but there isn't much in the way of higher education. The town is better suited for people that are looking to settle down and don't need a lot of action. There's a big Walmart and a mall on the west side of the city which is nice, so you won't have to go far for shopping.
I like to spend a lot of time outdoors and there are some good parks in Faribault that I enjoy. North Alexander Park is right along a river and is the best area in Faribault to relax in. I visit there a lot with my little dog when the weather is nice.
