School. I made many friends that year and the teachers inspired me to succeed in classes of Biology, English, Math and Choir. I vaguely remember but we may have taken a semester of South Carolina History. Outside of school I was very active with Little League baseball and played in a rock band. At the completion of 8th grade in 1971, my father was deployed back to Viet Nam so our family moved home to San Diego, CA. After high school and business college where I studied accounting,
I completed my Masters of Theological Studies and serve as an ordained pastor in the church in Daly City, CA, where my wife and I reside today. I can honestly say my experience that one year at Ebenezer did leave me with wonderful memories and it was my classmate friends and teachers that left a lifetime impression on me. It was a nice surprise to come across Ebenezer Middle School online and I am blessed to know my former middle school is still open, educating our young students for the future.
Thank you, Ebenezer.
