Living in Channahon is a great experience for a number of reason, a major factor being just how nice it feels. Being so small, the community is tight-knit and the crime rate is one of the lowest in the whole state, with plenty of employment opportunities and a decent housing market.
Some of the best areas in Channahon are definitely the restaurants, with Kelly's Video Gaming Cafe being at the top of the list for anyone who likes good food, cheap drinks, and gambling. It's not all local businesses, though, as you can still find the kind of modern establishments you're used to in larger towns and cities, like Dunkin' Donuts and McDonald's.
