han many small towns where people are fleeing to the cities.
Personally, I love the weather. It’s generally mild throughout the year but some summer days can be warm, and some people don’t care for the humidity. I do love that we can plan to get outside with the children all year long.
The cost of living and housing can be a little expensive in the best areas in Central compared to the rest of Louisiana. Also, there aren’t many places to go out and eat or much local entertainment. The upside though is that Central is only a short 20-minute drive to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife in Baton Rouge, so it still gets good marks. I love the small-town feel while being close to the city attractions.
