Shopping, dining and nightlife in Buffalo is average at best. Most of the restaurants and bars in the area are franchises, and shopping is limited to the essential chain stores. However, if you're willing to take a day-trip to Minneapolis, then you'll have a wide variety of unique and cultural shopping, dining and nightlife options that you wouldn't find in the Buffalo region.

The weather in Buffalo is comparable to the rest of Minnesota or the Midwest. Winters can be brutally cold and snowy while summers can be very humid and hot. It is noteworthy as well for potential homebuyers that Buffalo is located close to tornado alley and is subject to potential tornadoes during the spring and summer months. Read Less
