Browns Mills NJ, A Summer Treat 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Browns Mills is a small town in Pemberton Township in Burlington County. Browns Mills in in the Pine Barrens of NJ. The heart of the town is Mirror Lake. Summer is buzzing with people swimming, fishing and enjoying a picnic at the lake.

...Read More Bog Historic Village still stands today as a tourist attraction. James Fenwick started Whites Bog as a cranberry bog. In the early 1900's his daughter Elizabeth took an interest in growing blueberries. Whites Bog Village was a typical company town of it's day.

Today, Browns Mills is a small suburban/rural community. The downtown section has seen it's better days. The largest nearby city is Philadelphia which is 33 miles away. Browns Mills is also easily accessible to the Jersey Shore, which is 30 miles away. It is easily accessible to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Real Estate in Browns Mills is relatively inexpensive, making it a good choice for military personnel to live. Read Less
