My family has found the town to be quiet, safe and most people have some sort of view as it is a beautiful area near the Bradshaw Mountains. We have only one grocery and one convenience-type store but has been adequate for our needs. Also a Dollar store, steakhouse, old 1800's r ...Read More
estaurant and saloon that's very popular with tourists and a pizza place. It is a few degrees cooler than Phoenix, rains more here than Phoenix and several times we've seen snow in our yard or at least on the nearby mountains. Quite a mix of people ranging from wealthy to very poor. I often do all my shopping locally rather than drive to nearby Anthem. Is an RV-tourist destination for many and we have several RV parks for them.
