I Love to Eat at Shucks Oysters in Abbeville 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I've been living in Abbeville for 6 years and have enjoyed the small town environment and the great culture and delicious food in some of the best mom and pop restaurants in the country. One of my favorite restaurants in Abbeville is Shucks Oysters, Richard Seafood, and the River ...Read More front that has excellent seafood that is Cajun and very Louisiana good. The schools in Abbeville are okay and my kids enjoy the classmates that they have built strong relationships with and the teachers are very thorough in providing quality education.


The best areas in Abbeville are around the Abbeville Residential Historic District where there are a lot of great housing communities that are very friendly and provide opportunities for you to build long-lasting relationships with the other people living around you. There's very little crime in Abbeville which allows you to really enjoy a great small-town feel without a lot of negative activity. There are lots of shops restaurants and other amenities that make living in Abbeville very convenient. Read Less
