Winnetka Illinois: A Beautiful Place User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I experienced beautiful vivacity while living in Winnetka Illinois. The city is located in Cook County. Cedar Lake is about 16 miles from Chicago’s central downtown area. The town is highly affluent, however, living expenses are normalized for the area. Winnetka has a progressi ...Read More ve school system. They unceasingly are admired nationwide for their academic performance. Winnetka has both high tier public schools as well as private schools for all grades. They also house the Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The town has abundant housing availability, while employment has room for improvement. Winnetka has beautiful weather in all seasons. The upscale community is safe for individuals and families.

Some of the best areas in Winnetka Illinois surround the Winnetka Park District. Shopping and dining facilities are in close proximity. The area also offers athletic activities such as paddle tennis, ice skating, ice hockey, golf, tennis, and a northern beach lifestyle that is second to none.
