As a former Military family, we have lived all across this great United States and abroad. I know my commanding officer still cannot believe that I ended up in a small town like Willimantic, but I always remind him that due to the low cost of living, it was a choice of necessity. ...Read More
Although my family has lived various places for so long, I wanted them to be closer to my wife's side of the family. The pay that I receive counters the fact that there are not many jobs here in Willimantic. While the weather is nice, and crime is very low, I don't expect my wife to go out and just work at some rinky dink little spot. She is fine living off of my wages.
Our son is about to start his first year at ECSU and he is thrilled to actually have some stability and the ability to finally call one place home. Not only is this place home, but it really feels like it too.
