Steer Clear of West Park, FL! User Rating 2 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I think everyone has this image of Florida being the perfect place to live, with sandy beaches, lots of beautiful weather and sunshine, and tons of things to do all the time. Well that may be the case in other parts of the state but let me share with you that living in Westpark, ...Read More Florida is nothing like that! Westpark has an astronomical crime rate, very poor housing market and job markets, and a lot of people who just don't care about taking pride in their city. Oour schools are shameful, with insanely high dropout rates and severely low graduation rates. About the only thing that West Park has going for it is some decent weather.

if you do ignore my advice and are here looking for something to do to pass the time, there are Miami Plane Tours in nearby Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Ultra Music Festival, Star Luxe Yachts where you can charter a boat or take a guided tour, and the E11Even Miami dance clubs. If you're looking for anything more exciting, you're in the wrong place. Read Less
