West Hartford, CT - A Golfers Paradise 4 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 10, 2010) My husband and I took our daughter to West Hartford Connecticut last year to visit the children's museum. When we arrived we were greeted by Conny the whale a sixty foot sperm whale that we were allowed to go inside of. We could hear whale sounds and were even sprayed with water ...Read More from the blow hole. We knew from the very beginning of the trip to West Hartford that it would prove to be interesting. The museum is a fun and entertaining way to educate children. They learn about the five senses about history and even science. My daughter who is seven years old absolutely loved the museum. After the educational experience we took her to a local park and had a picnic. She loved running around the park and playing on the swings. She even met some of the local children and played with them.

We also did some sight seeing in West Hartford and walked around the city for hours exploring. We dined at some fine restraunts and enjoyed a lovely time as a family. My husband who is an avid golf fan wanted to go golfing which is a favorite of many of the citizens of West Hartford. We went to the Hartford golf club and spent about three hours golfing which proved to be fun, even for my daughter. Read Less
