Not A Lot Of Good Things To Say About West Columbia, South Carolina 1.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Sadly, West Columbus, South Carolina is one of those places you really want to like, but you can't. One would think that living in South Carolina itself would be a pleasant experience. However, after living in West Columbia for 4 years I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The ...Read More re is practically no housing available, the job market is a joke, and the schools are almost as big a joke as the job market. The people who live here don't seem to care about their homes, their yards, or anything else. South Carolina should be representative of the South but sadly, it is not.

If you do find yourself in West Columbia there are a few things you can do to pass the time pleasantly. Visit the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. Check out the Confederate Relic Room and Museum. The EdVenture Children's Museum is a fun place. And a popular local attraction is the Tunnelvision mural. Other than that, I am sorry to say there just isn't anything else to recommend this place.
